Job description

AlphaROC is looking for our first recruiter. This is a contract role to start. We work in-office 5 days/week on-site in Newark, NJ, but are open to an in-person or remote recruiter. 

You’ll work directly with the 3 co-founders and our CTO to build our initial recruiting strategy, branding strategy, and hire people across engineering, research, product, and operations. 

AlphaROC revolutionizes survey methodologies by integrating scalable technology and cutting-edge data science. Traditional survey data, which investors and major brands heavily rely on, is often outdated, slow to gather, and costly. Our modernized approach delivers higher quality, real-time survey data, ensuring timely and valuable insights.

We currently have 15 full-time employees and 5 contractors.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with co-founders and CTO to make hires across various departments.
• Keep the team informed on progress regularly.

Your Profile

• You’ll be our subject matter expert on recruiting so 5+ years of experience is ideal, with past work at startups. 
• Experience recruiting for technical roles, closing candidates with competing offers at major tech firms.
